Refund policy

Cancellations/Refunds

The customer may cancel an Order without penalty within 72 hours of placing their Order. If the Order is cancelled by the Customer during the applicable Cancellation Period, Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners shall refund any amounts paid in respect of such Order. If an order is cancelled outside the applicable Cancellation Period, the Customer will be charged a Cancellation Fee. For all custom "to-build" Orders the Cancellation Fee is equal to 10% of the total purchase price of the Structure, or the full amount of the initial down payment for RTO/90 Day Same as Cash option purchases and for all pre-built "off-lot" Orders the cancellation fee is $500 or the full amount of the initial down payment for RTO/90 Day Same as Cash option purchase.

Please note that the buildings shown on our website labeled as "Design # 1", "Design #2" and so on are custom "to-build" Structures.

If a customer has not taken receipt of their Order within 90 days of the order date, Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners reserve the right to cancel the Order and claim the full Cancellation Fee as outlined above. Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners will extend this delivery window if the customer is able to provide a firm delivery date and reasons for the delay. All orders greater than 180 days shall be cancelled and the customer shall be charged the Cancellation Fee.

Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners may cancel the Order at any time, in which case Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners shall refund any amounts paid by Customer to Homestead Buildings & Sheds or our partners in respect of such Order.

Please note that payments made online (via PayPal, credit card, debit card, AmazonPay, etc.) can take up to 7 days processing time, depending on the payment vendor. This includes refunds issued to the original payment method.

Inspection and Quality

All Homestead Buildings & Sheds buildings are inspected before delivery for imperfections in the components and functionality, such as proper closing of windows and doors, correct paint application, etc.

Damages and issues 
Once your building arrives, please let the delivery personnel know if you believe that it's missing something or damaged so that we can immediately make it right. We want you to love your new building!

Non-returnable items 

We do not accept returns/give refunds on gift cards.
